YR 2 Q1 Weight Goal: 178 (15 lb loss)
Weight loss goal for month: 5 lbs (181.5) – (183 to be on track for Q1 Goal)
Weight loss goal per week: 1.2 lbs

February Exercise Goals:

  • Cardio/walking or biking 5 times/wk – incorporate running into my cardio (start with run, then walk, pushing myself for distance/endurance
  • Strength Training 3 times/wk – upper body (3 sets of each machine/exercise)
  • Begin lower body work – 3 times/wk (3 sets of 10 each-lunges, step, squats)
  • Abs 5 times/wk (8 Minute Abs Dvd)
  • Pilates 3 times/wk – (video)

February Food/Nutrition Goals:

  • Aim for 1300-1350 calories/day unless a day with a lot of cardio
  • Watch out for over-eating a night
  • Experiment with Calorie Cycling (add mid-month)

Month 13 Goals: January 08

Starting Weight: Jan. 1, 2008 – 193 lbs

Q1 Weight Goal: 178 (15 lb loss)

Q1 Fitness Goals:

  • Cardio 5 times/wk (min. 40 min) – walking, biking, running
  • Strength training – upper 3 times/wk
  • Pilates 3 times/wk (beginner dvd)
  • Abs 5 times/wk
  • Incorporate lower body work-out – lunges, squats, step, stairs
  • Run to George Anderson without stopping (about 1 mile)
  • Set up/use new heart rate monitor to determine target heart rate

Q1 Food/Nutrition Goals:

  • Calories = 1300-1600 daily – depending on amount of exercise
  • 16 glasses water daily
  • Multivitamin daily
  • Increase in fruit & veggie (aiming for 5-6 daily)

 

 

2007 Fitness and Weight Loss Goals: 1 Year Check-In

In 2007, I will focus on 2 main areas – Physical (weight loss/fitness/health) and Financial (which included personal business goals)

Tho I will revise my weight loss goal for the year, I feel that this is an area of my life that is going very well. I’m feeling fit, strong and unstoppable! 🙂 I know that I will reach my ultimate goal and am not discouraged that it may take a bit longer than 1 year.

For the second half of 2007, I intend to continue working on this goal while pouring the same kind of initial intensity (as with my fitness goals), into the area of Finance/Business.

It has been a struggle for me to really get going with my financial/business goals. My intention is to be more focused on this in Q4-to have a system in place and at least a few sites up going into 2008. I would like to start 2008 with the same intensity towards my financial/business goals as I had at the beginning of 2007 with my Fitness/Weight Loss goals.

2007 Review:

I could not be more happy writing this today…thinking of how much my life has changed this past year. Being home for Christmas this last week was a wonderful and enlightening experience. Not only did I feel SO much better about myself physically, but I had more energy and desire to do things than I’ve had in the past. It really makes me realize how much of an impact the weight loss has in my life – on a mental level as well as physical.

The main focus did continue to be weight loss with the knowledge that the same amount of focus would be directed towards business/financial goals in 2008.

Physical:

  • To weigh 150 lbs or less by Jan. 1, 2008 (this will be 128 lb loss) – starting weight is 278
    *Revised: to weigh 178 or less by Jan. 1, 2008 (this will be 100 lb loss)
    *Revised: to weigh 193 or less by Jan. 1, 2008 (this will be 85 lb loss)

    *2007 Review: Jan 1 weight = 193! (actually 192.6-calling it 193) WooHoo! Success!!! In 2007 I lost 85 lbs!!!



  • To have a varied, consistent exercise routine that includes: walking, swimming, aerobic dvd workouts, pilates, strength training, biking, etc.*2007 Review:*Update: this goal has been and will continu to be accomplished. My current exercise routine includes: walking, biking, pilates, strength training and ab work. I would like to add some swimming before the end of the year.

    My current exercise program includes walking, biking, pilates, strength training, abs and I’ve just discovered that I can run! 😉

  • To have normal/stable blood pressure and to be off medication
    Update: last blood pressure check was great…medication/weight loss (I hope it’s due to the weight loss) 😉 seem to be working!
    Update: If blood pressure is good Oct 2, Dr will take me off the 1 remaining medication and monitor for a few months

    *As of a few months ago, I am completely off blood pressure medication! HUGE success!

2008 Fitness and Weight Loss Goals

In 2008, I will focus on 2 main areas – Financial (which includes personal business goals) and Physical (weight loss/fitness/health).  My intention is to put the same kind of energy/focus into my financial/business goals as I did my physical goals in 2007 – which was very successful! I will continue to move forward with my physical goals as well, but this is an area that I feel very confident in and have developed very good habits around. (can be somewhat an autopilot now ) 😉

Physical:

  • To weigh 133 lbs or less by Jan. 1, 2009 (this will be 60 lb loss for 2008, 145 lb total loss)
  • To continue with my varied and consistent exercise of walking, biking, strength training, ab work and pilates
  • To add different exercise – running, swimming, more leg work – lunges, squats, step, stairs, etc
  • To possibly take a karate or martial arts type class – look into this

WooHoo! Rock-n-Roll in 2008 – the projected year of completion for my weight loss goal! 😉

Month 12 Goals: December 07

Weight Loss and Fitness Goals:

Starting Weight: Jan. 1 – 278 lbs
Starting Weight: Dec. 1  – 195.4 lbs
Q4 Weight Goal: 193 (revised to 190) – adjusted goal from original (yearly) – *BIGGER GOAL: 188 lbs
Weight loss goal for month: 5.4 lbs (190) – *BIGGER GOAL: 7.4 lbs (188)
Weight loss goal per week: 1.4 lbs – *BIGGER GOAL: 1.9 lbs

December Exercise Goals:

  • Cardio/walking or biking 5 times/wk
  • Strength Training 3 times/wk – upper body (3 sets of each machine/exercise)
  • Abs 5 times/wk (8 Minute Abs Dvd)
  • Pilates 3 times/wk – (video)
  • There will be less exercise due to wk of work launch (12/11) and wk in WI/MI for Christmas

December Food/Nutrition Goals:

  • Calories 1400-1700/day  (play around with calories if not losing)
  • more consious of fruits, veggies, fiber, etc – general nutrition
  • experiment with steamer (new) and different veggies)

 

Month 11 Goals: November 07

Starting Weight: Nov. 1  – 203 lbs
Q4 Weight Goal: 193 (17.6 lb loss) – adjusted goal from original (yearly) – *BIGGER GOAL: 188 lbs
Weight loss goal for month: 5 lbs (198) – *BIGGER GOAL: 7.5 lbs (195.5)
Weight loss goal per week: 1.3 lbs – *BIGGER GOAL: 1.9 lbs

November Exercise Goals:

  • Cardio/walking or biking 5 times/wk (more biking this month, can also walk same days as biking)
  • Strength Training 3 times/wk – upper body (3 sets of each machine/exercise)
  • Abs 5 times/wk (8 Minute Abs Dvd)
  • Pilates 3 times/wk – (video)

November Food/Nutrition Goals:

  • Calories 1400-1700/day  (play around with calories if not losing)
  • 5-6 fruits and vegetables a day
  • more consious of fruits, veggies, fiber, etc – general nutrition
  • experiment with steamer (new) and different veggies)
  • aim for earlier meals to fit with new schedule – going for 7am, noon, and 6-ish

 

 

Month 10 Goals: October 07

Starting Weight: Oct. 1  – 210.6 lbs
Q4 Weight Goal: 193 (17.6 lb loss) – adjusted goal from original (yearly) – *BIGGER GOAL: 188 lbs
Weight loss goal for month: 5.9 lbs (204.7) – *BIGGER GOAL: 7.5 lbs (203.1)
Weight loss goal per week: 1.5 lbs – *BIGGER GOAL: 1.9 lbs

October Exercise Goals:

  • Cardio/walking or biking 5 times/wk (experiment with more walking, less cycling to see if it affects weight loss)
  • Strength Training 3 times/wk – upper body (3 sets of each machine/exercise)
  • Abs 5 times/wk (8 Minute Abs Dvd)
  • Pilates 3 times/wk – (video)

October Food/Nutrition Goals:

  • Calories 1500-1800/day  (play around with calories if not losing)
  • 5-6 fruits and vegetables a day
  • fish 3 times/wk
  • smaller, more frequent meals/snacks (to help with metabolism)
  • double water to 128 ounces day
  • aim for earlier dinner
  • protein drink in the evenings if hungry/feel like a snack

 

2007 Q4 GOALS: Oct. 1-Dec. 31, 2007

Starting Weight: Oct. 1 – 210.6 lbs

Q4 Weight Goal: 193 (17.6 lb loss) – *BIGGER GOAL – 188 (22.6 lbs)

Q4 Fitness Goals:

  • Cardio 5-6 times/wk (min. 40 min) – walking or biking
    (experiment with more walking, less bike to see if I lose more lbs)
  • Strength training – upper 3 times/wk
  • Pilates 3 times/wk (beginner dvd)
  • Abs 5 times/wk

Q4 Food/Nutrition Goals:

  • Calories = 1500-1800 daily – depending on amount of exercise
    (experiment with increasing if plateau occurs – may go up to 2000)
    (begin Oct. with experiment of not counting calories – paying attention, eating when hungry and not past full – want just a bit of "normalcy") 😉
  • 16 glasses water daily (Oct experiment – goal – 8 glasses min, additional as thirsty
  • Multivitamin daily
