Well I’m back in NC after a great few weeks in the midwest! I attended my 20th High School Reunion in Wisconsin, and then spent time in Michigan with my parents and sister. Whew! We went camping in my parent’s new motor home and did a lot of bike riding which was great! (my parents just got bikes!) I also helped sis with a HUGE garage sale as she is planning a big career move which may include the selling of her house.
My sister got a new car and gave me a great deal on her old car. (she also suprised me with a $500 "rebate" to use towards clothes – rewarding me for my weight loss – how awesome is she?! Thanks M!)
We then did a fantastic road trip back here together. We had decided to make a mini vacation out of it and had a blast! Our stops inlcuded Champaigne, IL (spent the night with brother and sister-in-law), St. Louis, (did a bit of gambling here which was fun!) Nashville and a final stop in Asheville, NC.
So where does this time away leave me with my weight loss efforts?
Before I left, my lowest was 155.4 (woohoo!). My highest since I’ve been back is 169.2 – whew! That’s 13.8 up! I’m pretty confident that getting back to it will bring the weight off quickly as I think much of it will be sodium/water weight. (well some of it anyways)
I didn’t really use a lot of discipline while away…especially while we were travelling. BUT I did get some biking in which was good. I’m trying not to beat myself up too much, BUT I have a trip to Ireland coming up this month on the 10th and I SO wanted to be at a low weight when I left – I’d just bought my size 8 Levi’s and I want to be wearing them! 😉
So now I’m really working to hit it hard and get this weight off before taking off again!! Wish me luck!
