Day 3 was a bit easier for me – I can feel myself getting stronger for sure! Have a great weekend everyone and remember we’re still shredding! πŸ˜‰

By the way, I’m creating these videos with the Flip Camcorder – a really simple way to upload videos to YouTube and Facebook. You can also easily send via email cards to someone. Very fun! A must have if you are doing video by yourself (of yourself) is this cute little Flip Tripod

    I am finally back online – but although I wasn’t online I did complete Day 1+2 of our challenge.
    Today I already hit the gym in the morning (35mins elliptical) and will work through my jillian-fitness plan in the evening.

    Paula – I love the videos, I just watched them all and they are such a great motivation!

    Rachel – Love your video too!

    Mette – Hey, fellow European! πŸ™‚ I’m from Austria!

    I also have a lot of jumping jacks and push ups in my fitness plan from Jillians website – so I know what you are all talking about! πŸ™‚

    I totally forgot to take my measurements today, but I will do that tomorrow, so that I see some results (hopefully) at the end of the 30days.

    Also, even after doing Shred at 11:15 p.m. last night, I still got up at 7:20 a.m. and Shredded it out again! Day three…CONQUERED! The jumping jacks are still killer–my flab bouncing around is just not fun! Onward and upward!

    Rachel – YOU are really amazing – I hope you know that! I mean it when I say that I’m not sure if I would have been able to commit/do this at my start weight of 278 SO please be patting yourself on the back right now. When/if the road ahead looks long, take a look at what you are accomplishing RIGHT NOW – it’s a huge indication that you WILL succeed! πŸ™‚ I’m so happy that we’re all here to join in that with you! Keep going Rachel and eveyone!!

  7. Paula – you look so cute and sparkly this morning! :0) Love the idea of posting videos. Have to buy a webcam for my computer or set up my digital camera/camcorder on the tripod.

    Day 3 of the 30 Day Shred: more calories at breakfast, check. First set of pushups, check. Second set of 9 pushups before having to switch to modified…big ole check! Thanking Natori for the best sports bra in the world after those butt kicks and jumping jacks, check, CHECK! Still a wee bit achy in my hamstrings, but I spent more time stretching after my workout this morning. I can sit and stand up without wincing today. :0)

    If I can do the entire second set of pushups tomorrow, I’m going to move onto Workout 2. It’s really fun to read about everyone’s progress and like Kim, Andie and Rachel, I’d love to connect on Twitter (@biggestloserlvr) too. That’s how I discovered Paula! Maria, hope your 3 are on the mend and that you stay out of the germ zone.

  17. OK, not feeling good today. I don’t know if it’s reaction to the dental visit or the bean soup I had last night because I couldn’t eat well with my face all numb. I’ve been in the bathroom a lot.

    I did manage to stay out of it long enough to do push-ups. Just on the kitchen counter, not with the TRX. Good part, counter is lower than I have the TRX set at, which means I push more body weight. Bad part, no instability since it’s a firm surface. That makes it easier. I cranked out 2 x 12. I’m glad I got it done, but I am not feeling great. I felt really hot while doing the pushups. So I’m getting offline and going to go rest.

  19. Hi Everyone,

    I did it Day #3….even though I was super sore. It was a little easier, today. I feel like I felt after I ran a marathon a few years ago, tightness on the legs and a sore….I am ready for a hot shower or bath.

    I thinking in about a week in a half or 2 weeks I can go to level 2. I just need to endure in the lateral raises with the side leg lunges (ouch!) and the jump ropes. I am having trying to keep very positive and I am expecting great results. Have a good weekend all.

  20. Awesome Veronica – thanks for posting and great work! πŸ™‚ I have issues with the first set of cardio – going from the jumping jacks to jump rope IS kicking my booty! I can’t do it all the way through – BUT I try to keep moving! lol Getting closer! Have a great weekend!

  21. I’m still here! The very first day I didn’t exercise – Ugh!! I hate that I stumbled on the very first day! But I wasn’t going to throw away the other 29 days because of it. On day 2 I walked for 45 minutes (3x my daily exercise goal), and on Day 3 I swam laps for 25 minutes. Look out Day 4 – I’m gonna kick your butt!

  22. Yay LA! Thanks for checking in…good to see you! πŸ™‚ You know what? You are a perfect example of what I consider to be one of the #1 secrets of success when it comes to weight loss and healthy living – NOT giving up just because of a meal, day, week etc!! Stumble and pick yourself up – keep going! One day out of 30 will not destroy you efforts. Thank you for THAT – and you are not alone for sure! Please keep us posted and have a wonderful weekend! P.S. Day 4 is afraid of you! lol

  23. LA, I had a not so hot exercise day yesterday, but I’m still going to carry on with the challenge. Knowing I had the challenge, well, it got me to do *something*. And even a little something that is beneficial to your body is better than nothing. Your attitude rocks!
